Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Product Expert at our Palo Alto, CA location to conduct market research and customer insight studies to monitor market tendencies, technology trends, and identify growth opportunities for SAP.
Expectations and Tasks:
Interviewing customers and participating in customer events to gather necessary input to drive product definitions. Developing and driving a product vision and roadmap based on customer and user research and context of business case. Managing and prioritizing the product backlog to reflect customer and user needs, while providing a comprehensive understanding to the product team. Creates detailed and data driven backlog artifacts through refinement with engineering and UX teams. Coordinating with central teams (Release Management, Production, and Governance) and creating product-related non-coded assets. Implementing solutions strategies through the delivery of a product; receiving and incorporating early feedback from customers and other relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding the external ecosystem developments
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:

Defining product vision and value proposition to drive customer adoption;

Product management tool Jira to translate long term vision into short term work plans;

Conducting end-to-end business process analysis across products and different user personas for Tier 1 customers;

SAP core business processes and solutions Order to Cash, Procure to Pay or Sourcing to Contract;

Leveraging data model to build business use cases in S/4 HANA or SAP ECC; and
-
Creating solution portfolios that Integrate SAP solutions like SAP S/4 HANA, BTP, CX Sales Cloud including its Retail Execution capabilities and earlier versions of ERP such as SAP ECC with customer’s legacy solution landscape.
Experience must also involve three (3) years in the following:

Product management tools Aha or Lucid to translate long term vision into short term work plans.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $226,158 - $268,222. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $226,158 - $327,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
