We help the world run better

At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for someone who knows how to navigate the world of analyst relations — someone who is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and relationship-builder. In this role, you will help shape the story of SAP’s Planning and Analytics and Sustainability businesses and ensure analysts understand where we’re going and why it matters.

If you enjoy turning complex ideas into clear messaging, thrive on collaboration, and like a good challenge, we would like to speak with you!

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Partnering with our global Analyst Relations team to support SAP’s Planning and Analytics and Sustainability businesses.
  • Driving meaningful engagement with analysts - sharing updates, gathering insights, and building long-term relationships.
  • Crafting content that’s both sharp and strategic including briefing docs, messaging, competitive positioning, crisis responses, and more.
  • Supporting product launches and helping us tell a strong, differentiated story in the market.
  • Working cross-functionally with teams like Product Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to shine in analyst evaluations like Gartner Magic Quadrants and IDC MarketScapes.
  • Helping sales teams by connecting them with timely analyst insights.
  • Tracking key metrics and helping us continually improve our impact.
  • Contributing to a supportive, collaborative, and very fun AR team — good sense humor welcome!

What You Bring To The Table

  • 7–10+ years of experience in communications, with a focus on Analyst Relations, Influencer Relations, or Media Relations (software industry experience = bonus points).
  • Confidence leading strategic conversations with senior execs, internal stakeholders, and influential analysts.
  • First-hand experience managing analyst evaluations (like those ever-famous MQs and MarketScapes).
  • A knack for aligning communications with broader business goals.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball, even when things get busy.
  • Strong, clear communication skills both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

  • A degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Experience across sales, consulting, or relationship management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP products, markets, and strategy, or a strong desire to learn.
  • Cultural fluency and comfort working across global teams and time zones.
  • Proficiency in English (German is a nice extra, but not required).

If you’re passionate about making complex things make sense, building strong connections, and helping a global brand stay at the forefront of the conversation, let’s chat. We’re serious about the work, but we like to have fun while doing it.
