Job Title: IT Senior System Architect

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Work Model: Hybrid Work Model.

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Senior System Architect at our Newtown Square, PA location to work on Agile Release Train (ART) Level, provide architectural guidance for business epics and drive implementation of enabler epics to advance the Architectural Runway.

Expectations and Tasks:

Define solution design for an ART or an agile team to guide the implementation. Ensure the solution meets functional requirements as defined by Solution Management and Product Management. Define nonfunctional requirements and ensure solution’s fulfillment. Drive architectural decision-making a across agile teams within ART and manage technical trade-offs. Communicate architecture visions across agile teams within ART. Ensure the solution adheres to the Architecture Guardrails and drive adjustments of the same, if required. Create system design and responsible for system design decisions in the respective single system or ART. Responsible for adherence to architecture guardrails and standards. Make architectural decisions and trade-offs for single system or ART.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

  • Solution architecture and integrations across Salesforce platform and cloud technologies, customer service systems and marketing platforms;

  • Data Integrity and Security standards that help create mechanisms by which the policies are enacted to avoid risks, identify threats, and act in the event of an incident;

  • Document business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, and sequence diagrams;

  • Proof of concepts (POCs) development to validate the design and performance of solutions and create innovative POCs that encompass various systems;

  • Technical application design and recommending best practice solutions based on business need; and

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and vendors, to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide guidance on Salesforce platform.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $180,576. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,611 - $205,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
