Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Project Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to deliver outcomes of assigned sub projects.
Expectations and Tasks:
Work independently within given area of responsibility. Sub projects - moderate level of complexity. Decisions/solutions can essentially enhance existing systems & processes. Strong competence with various job-relevant tools & processes. Builds collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP; Communicates clearly, in a way that others can understand within defined processes & policies. Advocating for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors & usage patterns. Promoting the role of User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies & practices and ability to integrate those into current and future development efforts.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve three (3) years in the following:

Project planning;
-
Managing Internal Stakeholders through project communication and collaboration;

Microsoft Office Suite; and
-
Scope Management.
Position also requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following:

Project quality management, project closing, and project monitoring & Controlling;

Agile methodology and processes (knowledgeable);
-
ServiceNow Tool (knowledgeable);
-
Proficiency in Scrum methodology; and
-
Proficiency in ITIL practices and framework.
License / Certification:
-
ITIL Certificate in IT Service Management; and
-
Professional Scrum Master Certified.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $118,024 - $166,950. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $118,024 - $185,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
