Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Physical Security Specialist at our Palo Alto, CA location to implement technical security measures and processes to ensure the safety and security of SAP personnel, facilities, and assets within SAP facilities.
Expectations and Tasks:
Monitors access control, network video systems, visitor management systems, project specifications standards, and security processes and support. Support security infrastructure for end of life, security upgrades, and GRF projects ensuring the deployment of electronic and physical security infrastructure. Perform security implementation work on a dedicated enterprise network for Global Physical Security, as well as security testing and implementation of new products or enhancements to current products. Assist in the administration of the Crisis Management and Travel Security Operations and its support of the SAP employee population during crisis events and business travel. Execute security operations plans to be deployed at events and participate in onsite security briefings and trainings. Participate in the development of programs and processes, cross functional relationships, and training with peers such as the Board Protection Team and various stakeholders, in support of all global physical security requirements. Contribute to the execution of finance and accounting responsibilities within the regional Physical Security team, by liaising with SGS financial controlling and other GPS regional finance peers. Coordinate and liaise with other internal team members in GPS for enterprise-grade intrusion, access controls, IP video surveillance, mass notification, and supporting subsystems, including scheduling, system administration, material ordering, delivery, tooling, reporting, deliverables and job close-out.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study.

Systems or Application Engineering;

Systems Piloting or Proof of Concepts;

Lead, manage, and support technology projects;

Convey or document technology solutions using CAD applications; and

Manage technology solutions using SharePoint, Smartsheet, Jira, and Mural.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $100,464 - $129,150. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $100,464 - $143,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
