Job Title: IT Business Services Consultant

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Business Services Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to define, execute and manage IT strategy, governance and standards along the dimensions people, processes and technology as well as all dimensions along of the IT Operating Model.

Expectations and Tasks:

Responsibilities include: Project & Program Management (Scaled Agile, Classical, Hybrid); Process & Portfolio Management; Reporting, KPI definition and measurement; Communication Management; Financial Management; Sourcing, Investment Management, Service Partner Management; Skill Management & Learning; and Support Audits. Manage the business services and business operations of the entire IT organization or specific units within the IT organization. Act as an interface between units within the IT organization as well as communicating, collaborating, and interfacing with other Board Areas, (acquired) Lines of Business and Corporate Functions (e.g. Group Controlling, Corporate Communications, Human Resource Management). Drive system design and development projects for IT applications, products, services and data to optimize / automate SAP’s business processes and improve work efficiency. Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve one (1) years in the following:

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Integration Suite, SAP Signavio, FI, MM and SD;

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), IT Enterprise Architecture, IT Governance, Risk Management, DevOps, Technical Solution Design, Requirements Gathering, Management Reporting, Stakeholder Management, SLA/KPI Metrics Measurement, Vendor Management, and Financial Budgeting;

  • Smartsheet, Atlassian JIRA & Confluence, MS Office Suite, SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Planner, MS Visio, Mural and Wiki;

  • SQL, Python, R, Java, PowerBI and Tableau; and

  • Software testing: End-to-End, UAT, Regression, Integration and Performance.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $129,870. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,611 - $144,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
