Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services, and data to automate SAP business processes.
Expectations and Tasks:
Resolve complex issues in the specific area like cross-functional or cross-country projects. Take decisions or find solutions which in turn enhance the current and future design and strategy. Enhance complex systems or processes. Represent SAP to customers and communicate clearly on processes and policies in a way that others can understand. Guide the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors and usage patterns. Promote the role of User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies and practices and ability to integrate those into current and future development efforts. Develop and provide systems, applications, products and services to optimize or automate business processes, improve work efficiency and provide the expert support in operations. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. For delivery, act as a technology expert to execute technical feasibility studies or solution reviews. Define or review technical blueprint for internal IT projects. Customize and develop enhancements. Implement the solutions and provide technical documentation. For operation, act as a cross functional technology expert to execute and support problem management and continuous improvement. Participate in de-escalation activities. Contribute to the Build to Run engagement and to the definition of technical standards and frameworks.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

Evaluate current SAP architecture, identify weaknesses, and make improvements;

Drive strategic SAP direction of short- and long-term IT investment needs;

Facilitate evaluation and selection of SAP software product standards;

Advise customers on technical requirements, constraints, and support including IT critical situations throughout the lifecycle;

Technical planning, implementation, configuration, or integration of SAP solutions;

Agile methodologies including Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or blended approaches; and
-
Manage and provide architect level support.
License/Certification required:

AZ-120: Microsoft Certified: Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $200,200. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $133,700 - $227,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
