What you’ll do
We are looking for a highly motivated (Senior) DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) who will be designing, developing, and managing our Google Cloud-Based Administration, infrastructure and solutions to optimize business cost, operations and data security. Within the newly formed Sovereign Cloud Delivery organization, we are responsible for operating a multitude of SAP solutions according to local certification requirements. We established a small global team, which focuses on standardization and alignment between the various regional operations teams, who will execute their day-to-day activities based on global guidance
This position can also be filled in part time.
This includes:
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud administration and infrastructure preparation using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
- Maintain data security and compliance by implementing industry-standard security practices
- Prepare cost overview, manage discount, provide multi Domaine User Management to be handed over to productive teams
- Collaborate with production and development teams to enable the platform for SAP cloud-native applications
- Develop scripts to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources
- Monitor cloud systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide solutions to ensure optimal performance
- Offer technical guidance and training to team members on GCP tools and best practices.
What you bring
- 5+ years experience in software development and 2+ years experience with Google Cloud Plattform
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Documentation: Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation
- Incident Management: Experience with ITIL or similar incident management frameworks
- Continuous Learning: A strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Certification in Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or similar is highly desirable.
