What you’ll do:

We are looking for enthusiastic Associate Site Reliability Engineers to support our delivery architecture and cloud readiness initiatives, driving the adoption of emerging technologies for our cloud solutions. Our team is responsible for managing advanced cloud products such as Digital Currency Hub, Customer Checkout Manager Cloud Edition, and Supportability Services. We leverage cutting-edge technologies, including Kubernetes (K8s), K8s operators, and GitHub Actions-based pipelines, to deliver substantial business value to customers globally and enhance their operational effectiveness.

  • Designing, developing, testing, and delivering container-based execution environments using technologies like Docker.
  • Developing robust Kubernetes orchestration frameworks to ensure optimal service scaling and traffic management with tools like Istio.
  • Automating operational practices to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Contributing to the technical execution of delivery architecture and supporting cloud enablement efforts.
  • Supporting the delivery roadmap and championing the adoption of new technologies to enhance our cloud solutions.
  • Committing to best practices in the development lifecycle.
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, delivering features end-to-end.

What you bring

  • You are a highly motivated and tech-savvy professional with a passion for coding and automation
  • You possess extensive knowledge of containerisation (Docker), service scaling using orchestration (Kubernetes), traffic management (Istio), and similar technologies.
  • Experience with deployment methodologies like blue-green and canary deployments, as well as proficiency with pipeline-based deployments and CI tools such as Git, SVN, and Jenkins, are essential.
  • You have exposure to multiple cloud infrastructure providers and abstraction layers like Gardener, and hands-on experience with large-scale cloud software build, integration, and test environments.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Java, SQL, JavaScript, Python, Go, Shell Script, and Ruby in a test-driven environment is crucial.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science.
  • Agile, quick to learn, optimistic, with a collaborative approach to achieving team goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in both written and spoken Slovak and English.
  • Team-oriented, communicative, customer-focused, and quality-driven.
  • Creative, innovative, and passionate about new technologies and tools.
