What you’ll do:

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern- Software Developer SAP Datasphere Business Layer Team

Location: São Leopoldo, RS (3x per week)

We are looking for a Developer Intern to join the SAP Datasphere team, one of the most instrumental teams within Business Data Cloud.As part of this role, you will join the Data Access Control component, which is responsible for managing row-level security. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including analyzing business requirements, modeling, designing, implementing, and testing solutions — all while following SAP’s quality standards

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe, including other development teams and product management colleagues within the SAP BDC&I Modeling area.Our team primarily works with:TypeScript for front-end development using the SAP UI5 frameworkNode.js for back-end development. In this position, you will have the chance to strengthen your coding skills while developing a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.

  • Knowledge or experience in software development
  • Analytical and architectural skills.
  • Understanding of software quality assurance and testing methodologie
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologie
  • Strong communication skills and an advanced level of English
  • Willingness to quickly learn new areas, and work on both development and support-related activiticWhat you will learn:
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills while also improving your communication abilities — learning how to express your ideas confidently and with integrity, even in challenging situatio
  • You will collaborate closely with Architects, Product Managers, UX Designers, and QA Engineers to:
  • Develop features for the SAP Datasphere product in the context of Data Access Contro
  • Participate in designing, coding, testing, and ensuring the quality of product feature
  • Assist in building proof-of-concepts (POCs) and researching innovative solutionsEngage in the full software development lifecycle, including design sessions, defining functional requirements, working with development teams, and testing
  • The main focus of this position is backend development, but full-stack contributions are highly welcome.
