On the 5th of January 2026, we are proud to launch our next STAR (Student Training and Rotation) at SAP Hungary which offers a wide range of possibilities for you to continuously broaden your knowledge, skills and to pave the way for a thriving career. Besides the fact that you would grow personally and professionally after completing your studies you could consider employment in almost any area of the company as many of our graduates find their ideal job in the areas of software development, services & sales, product support, DevOps operations or in consulting.

Important information about the structure of the program

At the beginning of the program, you will get an intense, 3-week-long onboarding including technical training for Cloud Technologies and Software Development methodology. Furthermore, in each following semester 2-4 days of technical or soft-skills training will be provided to enhance your knowledge.

Please note: The full month of January, on-site presence in our Budapest office is mandatory to complete the onboarding successfully.

Your schedule looks as a follows:

  • In your first semester, you will work 16 hours per week, and from the following semesters, the minimum required is 20 hours per week.

How can you benefit from the program?

- Each semester, you'll rotate through different projects, ensuring that you'll learn many aspects of software development or other technology areas, such as DevOps, cloud, AI, and many more.

- In July 2026, your work schedule will be full time. In return, you'll have almost a month off in August 2026 (or pro-rated according to your actual schedule).

- You may also complete your required mandatory practice or thesis work under the umbrella of the STAR Program.

Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
