About the SAP Internship Experience Program:
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
Three reasons to intern at SAP:
- Culture of collaboration: meet with mentors, make new friends across the globe and create a thriving personal network.
- Project-driven experience: gain cross-functional skills from our virtual and in-person learning sessions, diverse subject matter experts, and project deliverables.
- Gain visibility: with SAP Internship Experience Program in your title, you’ll have a global network of SAP leaders, entrepreneurs and career development opportunities at your fingertips.
About the team:
The ABAP Language team develops the ABAP programming language, the ABAP compiler, and the ABAP runtime within the application server. It is the language of most SAP business applications, with millions of internal and external developers and the heart of the ABAP Cloud.
The ABAP Dynpro & Code Analysis team is part of the ABAP Language team. We build and evolve SAP’s ABAP Dynpro technology and static code analysis tooling. We are seven developers based in Walldorf and Dresden. We maintain and enhance ABAP Dynpro - widely used across core ERP and the foundation for many customer extensions - keeping it robust, high-performing, and extensible. We also develop and maintain key ABAP quality and security tools, including SLIN (the ABAP linter) and CVA (Code Vulnerability Analyzer), working closely with application teams across SAP.
We are launching the Dynpro Explain, which uses large language models to explain classic SAP GUI applications built with ABAP Dynpro. It targets project managers, consultants, and developers, helping them quickly understand screens, flow logic, and business context.
