We are seeking a detail-oriented and Software Integration Tester with previous automation testing experience to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by conducting thorough testing and collaborating with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to enhance the user experience. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for delivering error-free software solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements and create test plans, cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
  • Execute testing phases (functional, regression, performance, etc.) and document results.
  • Identify, report, and track bugs or issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Adapting tests based on product changes and writing new tests for new scenarios and features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures and outcomes.

What do we expect:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in testing methodologies
    • Experience with test automation tools
    • Solid understanding of programming or scripting languages (Python, C++, Google test)
    • Knowledge of API and HW interface testing, test-driven development (TDD), requirement engineering, and CI/CD processes.
  • Problem-Solving Ability:
    • Excellent analytical skills to identify potential software issues.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to anticipate and address risks proactively.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Meticulous in identifying discrepancies and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • You have experience in testing (certifications or training as a tester would be desirable).
    • You have experience in hardware-related software testing, including an understanding of HW/SW interfaces, and test routines is highly appreciated.
    • You are familiar with agile development and working in agile teams.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings effectively.
    • Team player with a cooperative approach to working with diverse groups within agile teams.
    • You work in an international team and therefore have business-fluent English skills. German language is welcome.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 1700 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
