We are driving programs like AI4ENG to support our engineers and optimize processes through AI-driven solutions.
We are looking for an experienced AI Transformation Manager (f/m/d) to drive and lead our AI initiatives in an interdisciplinary team across the company. The particular focus is on the implementation and scaling of AI use cases in the rail industry. This role requires a deep understanding of AI tools, technology stacks and digital cultural transformation programs.
Your mission
- In your new role, you will lead the AI Technology Transformation (program) within Siemens Mobility.
- Your goal is to significantly increase innovation and efficiency in the rail sector through the use of AI.
- To achieve this, you will implement and scale AI use cases in an interdisciplinary environment and team.
- Also, you will manage and monitor AI projects to ensure that they create strategic added value.
- You will develop a company-wide AI strategy and guidelines in terms of technology and organizational set-up that enable the individual initiatives to work consistently in one direction.
- You will work very closely with the already established initiatives.
- You will also communicate the value of AI initiatives and promote their acceptance throughout the company.
- Moreover, you will network closely with our global AI experts and managers to identify and realize the greatest potential.
- Ensure high standards and consistent quality across the entire program lifecycle
- As the main point of contact for senior and top management, you represent the key AI transformation measures and prepare reports and decision papers with the AI expert team.
What do you bring along?
- You hold a university degree (Master) in computer science, data science, computer or electrical engineering or a related field with a focus on AI, machine learning or computer vision.
- In addition, you have several years of professional experience in the fields of AI, machine learning and data science, e.g. generative AI technologies (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI and open-source large language models).
- You also have solid experience in leading AI transformation programs and understand their impact on organizations.
- You have experience in applying AI/ML techniques as part of the development lifecycle of products/services/solutions.
- Furthermore, you have experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure) and distributed computing environments.
- You are able to define and implement strategic plans, taking into account technical and organizational aspects.
- You have experience in project / program management, interdisciplinary collaboration and implementing change in a global organization.
- Very good German and English skills complete your profile.
