Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- As a software developer, you play a central role in the development of software as a Medical Device for clinical applications and image-guided therapies.
- You work in an agile development team on the planning of work packages as well as the design, documentation, implementation, integration and testing of software.
- You are responsible for the holistic development of software solutions ranging from the user interface to the business logic. A particular focus is on the integration and further development of algorithms, such as image fusion. With your experience, you also support your team members and promote their further development.
- You develop automated tests to verify features at various test levels and continuously improve the test framework.
- You contribute to the improvement of processes and development tools.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable specialization.
- You have many years of professional experience in software development.
- You have very good knowledge of C# and C++.
- You have experience in the development and implementation of algorithms, particularly in the areas of image processing and machine learning.
- You are experienced in using test frameworks, ideally nunit, GoogleTest and SpecFlow, and in developing automated tests at higher levels.
- You have extensive experience in using version management systems such as Git as well as ALMs such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- You are used to ensuring high software quality by applying clean code principles and development concepts such as behavioral-driven development.
