About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and innovative R&D Software Intern to join our team, focusing on the development of vision foundation models, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, scientific computing, computational geometry, signal processing or image processing techniques for computational metrology. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing advanced algorithms and software solutions to enhance the precision and efficiency of metrology processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Algorithm Development: Design and develop machine learning models and AI algorithms tailored for computational metrology applications.
Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and improve metrology accuracy.
Software Engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams with the target to integrate AI/ML models into production systems.
Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and metrology to drive continuous innovation.
Performance Optimization: Improve and optimize models for better performance and accuracy.
Documentation: Document models, experiments, and processes to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Education: PhD degree student or Master’s degree student in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Physics, or a related field. (Target Onboarding : Summer 2025)
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and C++.
Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Understanding of data processing and exploration, data visualization, and model evaluation.
Analytical Skills: Problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.
