As technology leadership is at the center of Siemens’ strategy, the Digitalization & IT (DIT) Audit Practice plays a pivotal role in providing assurance to the Managing Board and the Audit Committee. We create impact by exploring questions around risks and opportunities emerging from artificial intelligence, digitalization, evolving business models, cloudification, data privacy and implementation of large IT/ transformation projects.

We make real what matters. This is your role.
- Co-create and drive the strategy of the DIT Audit practice, as a member of the diverse global CF A leadership team.
- Lead multiple engagements in Siemens’s digital IT and business environments - business model transformation, digital governance (incl. cloud computing), software development and deployment lifecycle risks, trustworthiness of AI (incl. Generative AI), data privacy and implementation risks around large IT and ERP projects - through an agile audit process. It is essential that the candidate brings thought leadership on these aspects – this is important in light of Siemens’ strategy to be a focused technology company and correspondingly focusing on technical skills needed in the audits to deliver forward looking assurance.
- Own the relationship to Senior Management, especially for IT and Technology-driven topics.
- Work closely with the CF A Heads of Assurance Practice/ Region to align on drawn conclusions and communication towards auditees.
- Live the CF A People Strategy; lead your team by example, be a career coach and mentor. Actively identify and recruit new talents and develop your team through continuous career coaching and mentoring. Servant leadership/ leading with humility are key cultural tenets of our team and therefore a successful candidate must demonstrate and imbibe these aspects.
- Drive innovation for e.g., on new topics like impact of Generative AI in audit, thinking of new approaches to audit emerging risks within software development and deployment in collaboration with our data analytics team to help bringing assurance to the next level.
What you need to make real what matters.
- At least 10 years of professional experience within Siemens, other leading technology companies, a Big 4 or a consulting company. Thought leadership and passion for a technology deployment or governance is a must, including focus areas such as IT controls and governance, data science and analytics, software development lifecycles, distributed ledgers, cybersecurity etc.
- Strong leadership and project management expertise in a complex global organization.
- Proven track record showing outstanding performance and a continuous career development.
- Strong managerial experience with an affinity for technology and associated risks in at least one of the following fields: business model transformation, digital governance (incl. cloud computing), software development and deployment lifecycle risks, trustworthiness of AI (incl. Generative AI), data privacy and implementation risks around large IT and ERP projects.
- Strong desire and drive to develop into future roles in business/ corporate functions.
- Preference towards candidates that have worked in an international business setting, have multi-geography experience and have a drive and passion for working with people with different skills, expertise and backgrounds.
- Experience of leading people as a disciplinary supervisor would be preferred.
- Understanding of the Chinese regulatory environment, especially for IT and Cybersecurity relevant topics, would be preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to summarize and describe audit results.
- Proficiency in English, flexibility to travel (up to 30%, incl. international travel) and embracing our hybrid working model is essential.
