Then come and join our global team as Senior IT Auditor (f/m/d) to represent IT Assurance within the IT organization as a reliable partner for the implementation of the risk and internal control system and establish concepts for minimizing IT risks. This role involves identifying risks, recommending improvements, and ensuring that IT operations are secure, efficient, and aligned with business objectives and compliant with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You define and optimize IT-specific internal control systems with a focus on sustainability and finance-related applications and infrastructures, ensuring alignment with local and global regulatory requirements.
- You independently perform IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), Manual IT Dependent Controls, and review ISAE 3402 reports, including deviation identification, root cause analysis, and remediation monitoring.
- You collaborate closely with external assurance partners of Siemens AG and Siemens Healthineers to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- You support the digitalization and ongoing enhancement of the annual IT assurance program.
- You coach and mentor team members on audit methodologies and execution best practices.
- You manage multiple compliance and assurance initiatives, system implementations, and projects simultaneously, demonstrating a hands-on approach and delivery mindset.
- You supervise and review work performed by internal staff and external service providers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- You contribute to the preparation and drafting of reports, audit findings, and project documentation.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field with a specialization in Information Systems.
- You bring many years of relevant professional experience as a lead auditor in IT General Controls or SAP System Audits, ideally within the healthcare sector, a related industry, or at one of the “Big 4” auditing firms.
- You are very experienced in auditing compliance and controls in large-scale enterprise applications such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Security Weaver, Salesforce, Workday, and custom-built systems.
- You are a subject matter expert in Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), Internal Control over Sustainability Reporting (ICSR), finance compliance (e.g., Segregation of Duties), and relevant IT compliance frameworks.
Your attributes and skills:
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and are confident working with global stakeholders across divisions, functions, and regions.
- You demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills and can translate complex IT concepts into clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You possess strong consulting know-how and enjoy sharing knowledge within the team.
- You are a self-starter who works independently with a high level of motivation, ownership, and results orientation.
- You are passionate about the success of Siemens Healthineers and bring enthusiasm to your work.
- Occasional international travel (approx. 5–10%) is part of your role, for collaboration with local system owners or on-site audit activities.
