Embedded in a team of specialists, you take responsibility for worldwide Oil & Gas projects, executed by the Business Area EAD within the Transformation of Industry.
How You'll Make an Impact
Structural Engineer duties and responsibilities
- Design structures, such as buildings, skids, modular container structures
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved
- Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges
- Planning and scheduling construction work
- Assisting in preparation of construction documents
- Reviewing construction documents and drawings
- Providing guidance and direction to team members
- Coordinating construction and installation of structures

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering (Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
- Professional work experience in developing blueprints and designs for proposed structures
- Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and fast-tracking project environment
- Advanced understanding of build materials, techniques and processes
- Advanced knowledge of international building codes (Eurocode, ASCE, ANSI etc.)
- Up to date understanding of best practices regarding building safety measures
