We are seeking a Head of Technology and Business Excellence to join our management team and take ownership of driving the Company Improvement Agenda, leading a diverse team of talented professionals to deliver transformative initiatives that accelerate growth and business excellence.

Our contribution to society:
We work closely with some of the largest players in railway infrastructure (Bane NOR) and public transport (Sporveien) in Norway. Among other things, we deliver a completely new digital signaling system for the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) railway and for the Oslo metro, Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC), ensuring that thousands of passengers can travel safely, easily and efficiently by public transport every day.
As the Head of Technology and Business Excellence, the key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and provide the necessary technical resources, competencies, and capacity to support current and future business needs, particularly in the areas of electrification, traffic management systems, testing and completion, and signaling.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to efficient management systems and organizational processes.
  • Lead the development and execution of the company's digital strategy, both internally and within the Norwegian market.
  • Oversee and promote initiatives related to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), quality, and sustainability across the organization.
  • Drive the company’s improvement agenda in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and lead a department of approximately 60 employees, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term strategy.
  • Actively contribute as a key member of the company’s management team.
To succeed in the role, we believe you have:
  • Higher education, preferably within engineering, technology, or business.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within large, complex organizations and international environment.
  • Proven experience in similar roles within project-based organizations delivering technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in leading company-wide improvement initiatives and the development of management systems.
  • Solid experience in leading digital strategy and implementing digital transformation projects
  • Professional fluency in English. Proficiency in Norwegian and German is an asset.
