Siemens Industry – Factory Automation business unit has a Systems Engineer position available. The position is focused on supporting our project business utilizing a Siemens-centric control systems for automated machinery. The Systems Engineer will help design, program, test, debug, and commission control system projects.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer. This position will be based in Alpharetta, GA.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Design, implement, and maintain PLC and HMI software programs.
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug control systems.
- Revise programs to operational order based on customer requirements.
- Create electrical schematics and help team members interpret prints/assemble control panels.
- Modify program/system logic consisting of multiple systems and subsystems.
- Interact with external/internal customers to gain an understanding of the business environment and define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned work.
- Create Bill of Materials and maintain other necessary documentation.
- Travel to customers’ location to help install, test, and debug machinery.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Engineering related field
- 5+ years of experience in industrial controls and systems integration with engineering and troubleshooting
- 5+ years proficient in programming, commissioning and/or troubleshooting automation & drives.
- Ability to travel domestically & internationally (40% travel overall)
- Travel will include 8 to 10 weeks consecutively twice per year internationally
- Candidate must reside in proximity to the Alpharetta, GA office which will require 3 days a week subject to business needs
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering (Associates+ equivalent experience also acceptable)
- • 1+ year Siemens automation and drives experience
- • Customer Focus: Intense customers focus and uses customer information for improvement in products and service.
- • Printing Industry Vertical

- The pay range for this position is $82,320-$141,120. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
