Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You drive the digitalization of healthcare by developing, prototyping, and implementing concepts and architectures for digital systems and platforms within the team.
  • As an employee in the central function “Innovation Strategy and Ecosystem”, you coordinate with our business units and technology centers to identify and prioritize key cross-functional technological topics.
  • As a Technology Lead for innovation projects, you are responsible for implementing the aforementioned concepts while interacting with our international internal and external development partners.
  • You are responsible for preparing and providing project results to ensure their seamless use as building blocks for further development projects by contributing transparent interfaces, comprehensive documentation, and creative platform ideas.
  • You proactively identify customer-desired use cases, demonstrate their feasibility with convincing technical solutions, and ensure support for the internal and external marketing of new technological concepts.
  • You continuously provide new impulses to our company, thereby driving the digitalization of healthcare and the advancement of Siemens Healthineers.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • You impress with your several years of professional experience in programming or software architecture.
  • We also welcome applicants with a Bachelor's degree or completed vocational training and further education combined with additional professional experience in this field.
  • You have solid expertise in the development and operation of digital platforms or ecosystems.
  • You possess strong knowledge in applying methods from areas such as Design Thinking or structured problem-solving.
  • You stand out with solid knowledge of clinical workflows, data management in healthcare, and the medical technology industry.
  • You have advanced skills in programming environments such as Python, Java, C, Azure, HTML5, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ideally, you have experience in IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Services, Business Development, and Innovation Management.

  • To communicate effectively in an international work environment, you bring fluent English skills; additional German knowledge is advantageous.
  • You are a creative, curious, and independent personality.
  • You have a keen sense for unmet customer needs and business opportunities and can communicate complex issues and ideas in simple language.
  • You handle conflicts between different interest groups confidently and excel at creating win-win situations even in complex scenarios.
  • You are a "digital native," actively engaging with social media and influencing your surroundings.
