We are looking for ALM and Tooling Solution SW-Engineer

You’ll make a difference by

  • You will support the introduction of the ALM solution Polarion within the Locomotives and Passenger Coaches sub-division.
  • As a technical expert, you will constantly work on the documentation and further development of best practices, Java extensions and the further expansion of our knowledge database.
  • Within your projects, you train and support your colleagues in their daily work with Polarion and the quality standards according to EN 50657
  • In our DevOps culture, you work on projects in an agile environment. These are internationally distributed teams at various locations.
  • They share their experiences and ideas within the team, as well as in the entire Mobility Polarion community, thus promoting the exchange among each other and the development of know-how.
  • You will also support the SW development through innovative tooling solutions that you will create with Python.

Desired Skills:

  • Successfully completed technical studies in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronics (bachelor's/master's degree).
  • Experience in the field of requirements engineering / system engineering. - Good programming skills and experience with Java, Java Script, Python, Frontend libraries like AngularJS or VueJS or other programming languages
  • Experience with Polarion is a plus- good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Your way of working is characterized by a high degree of solution orientation, analytical skills and a high level of abstraction, whereby you are also willing to familiarize yourself with new specialist topics in the field of mechatronics.
  • You enjoy working with colleagues from different departments and locations.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
