Role Headline
In the role of Portfolio consulting Professional for MV SYSTEM, you shall possess detailed technical knowledge on medium voltage Products and systems, demonstrate proactive approach for generation new leads and business opportunities, creating & presenting customized value propositions for an impactful technical pitch. Additionally keeping constant drive for pushing IoT & digitalization solutions together with MV electrification. You will be decisive technical expert in your function for performing following roles & responsibilities.
Responsibilities of the Role
Adequate knowledge on medium voltage IEC standards, Power system networks, fault levels, Primary and Secondary Medium voltage Air and Gas insulated switchgears, Compact substations, Ring main units & general protection features.
Mapping upcoming projects & investments in various segments during early stages of project conception via proactive customer engagements.
Effective promotion & prescription actions in areas of medium voltage systems (AIS/GIS/RMU/CSS) across Power utilities (Public / Private), Industries & Infra segments.
Persistently promoting IoT/ Digitalization solutions & its benefits e.g. sustainable electrification architecture
Conduct Presentations / workshops/ factory visits to customers for generating project leads.
Homologation of MV products / Systems as per customer approval processes , taking lead in factory approvals
Constant engagement with technical consultants & PMCs through persuasive, collaborative and consultative selling approach
Supporting front end Regional Sales teams by driving prescription actions, Homologations & technical support for MV Systems and IoT/ Digitalization
Gather market knowledge on competitor products & suitably strategize with their strengths & weakness.
Special focus for mapping Govt. policies, various investments, capacity building and driving business development activities.
Conduct periodic review meetings together with vertical market managers for Data center, O&G, Cement verticals to ensure seamless collaboration & identify new projects well in advance.
Participation in Industry Events / Fairs / Customer days to promote the portfolio.
Candidate shall possess
Candidate with Bachelor or Master’s Degree (full time) in Electrical Engineering from reputed institute with good academic background
Having 12-15 years of relevant experience in role of Pre-sales, Business development, prescription function, technical sales support, tendering activities on medium voltage switchgears & solutions.
Basic know-how on IoT/ digitalization solutions for condition monitoring in MV switchgears.
Well versed in preparing value proposition based presentations for an effective technical pitch
Flexible for frequent business trips across regions & country based on the requested tasks and business needs & activities.
Demonstrable record of developing and maintaining customer relationships
Should be Self-starter, goal driven with a strong desire for business development & consultative selling approach.
Fast learning ability as key competence, good verbal and written communication skills, Collaborative approach, growth mindset
