Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
We are looking for a MES Product Architect to act as a technical specialist in the development, implementation and support of MES/MOM solutions in industrial environments. The professional will be responsible for technically leading implementation projects, with a focus on customizations, integrations with other systems (ERP, PLM, automation) and continuous product evolution.
This role requires mastery of .NET development and experience in manufacturing environments, with a strong interface with the client to define the roadmap, gather requirements and adopt the solution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a technical leader in MES/MOM solution implementation projects.
• Develop customizations, integrations and data migrations using Siemens platforms and .NET technologies.
• Support solution architects and project managers in the technical and functional definition of the solution together with the costumer.
• Influence the design of new features, architecture, performance and infrastructure.
• Disseminate good implementation practices and promote the consolidation of the technical knowledge base.
• Interact with the client to support the management of expectations and ensure the successful adoption of the solution.
Qualifications:
• Experience in systems and application development with .NET, C# and Entity Framework.
• Experience in web development with modern frameworks such as AngularJS, Web APIs, HTML5.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, including Reporting Services.
• Experience in integrating heterogeneous systems via market protocols and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, PCS, control logic) is desirable.
• Knowledge of MES/MOM, PLM, ERP, LIMS, PIMS or APS systems applied to manufacturing.
• Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, QlikView) and ETLs is desirable.
