Are you ready to shape the backbone of data-driven innovation?
As our Lead Data Architect, you’ll design and drive the technical strategy for our enterprise data architecture, uniting diverse data sets and enabling advanced AI/ML use cases. You’ll work across domains, teams and technologies, advising senior leaders and guiding projects that unlock real business value.
Location: Please note that qualified candidates need to be legally eligible for work authorization in Switzerland.
Your new responsibilities
- Design, communicate and drive technical data architecture strategies that create business value
- Integrate diverse data sources to enable AI/ML activities
- Advice senior management regarding data foundations and architecture best practices
- Conduct feasibility studies and recommend the adoption of appropriate data technologies and solutions
- Lead innovation through Proof of Concepts and provide clear, documented guidelines
- Act as an expert for Data architecture to coach and advise the different data teams in SI B
- Align and engage stakeholders (such as internal teams, external vendors and contractors) to ensure buy-in and smooth delivery of key initiatives and projects
Your talents and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise data architecture and product development
- Hands-on experience across multiple data domains, including SQL, NoSQL, ETL, Data lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Fabric
- Developer experience with Python and solid understanding of federated vs centralized data architectures
- Ability to influence, build data management practices and solve complex data challenges
- Ideally: Experience with AWS, Collibra and/or Snowflake
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
