Position Overview:
As a Software Engineer in Lifecycle Collaboration Software (LCS), you will dive into developing our premiere Teamcenter software. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products, with a focus on surpassing customers’ expectations by achieving high quality and on-time delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanisms. You will also create, document, and execute software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas. While you will work with general supervision on complex projects and can partner with senior engineers, it will also be important to act with independent judgment when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of software and associated test automation based on roughly predetermined architectures for large enterprise platforms, together with colleagues in worldwide distributed development teams.
  • Proactive contribution to the team to ensure successful and high-quality product delivery.
  • Perform all steps in the software development life cycle (specs, design, construction, test plan & execution) using Agile methodology.
  • Solve complex technical problems.
  • Performance, scalability, and system testing.
  • Defect and problem report backlog reduction.
  • Occasional customer interaction.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++.
  • 1+ years of experience in web technologies like JS, HTML5, CSS or web frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Cloud or Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team success.
  • Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems.
  • Works with minimal supervision on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodology and working experience with Scrum.
