Responsibilities
- Perform on site trouble shooting, maintenance, repairs and T&C for substation automation RTU and ensure the service and T&C is completed within target timeline
- Participate in the rotational standby duty roster which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issue using specialized tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
- Support Engineering team to prepare technical manuals/ document for submission
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:
- Higher Diploma or above in Electrical/Electronic/Control and automation Engineering or related engineering disciplines
- At least 5+ years’ relevant experience in electrical/electronic/control and automation engineering field
- Solid experience in automation RTU/PLC system is highly preferable
- Knowledgeable on industrial communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus and IEC 61850) is preferable
- Strong knowledge in Control and Automation Systems and SHEQ system implementation
- Excellent communications skills and a team player
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Well-versed in MS Office applications and AutoCad
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Willing to develop technical competence in Substation RTU and automation
- Candidate with less experience and qualifications will be considered as Assistant Services Engineer
