One of the main components in designing such lasting and reliable products is the "Mechanical engineering" and now we are seeking to augment our team with a hands-on mechanical engineer to aid in the manufacturing of these sensors.

Who are we looking for

We are hiring Mechanical engineers specialized in design and manufacturing technologies with the following skills;

Education: Masters/Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (With Certifications in CAD and Instrument design – Desirable)

Hands-on

  • Read and create technical drawings
  • Assembly process
  • 3D Modelling (CAD) preferably Siemens NX or similar
  • 2D Drafting
  • Assembly Modelling
  • PDM/PLM Systems
  • General MS Office skills

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
  • Material selection with understanding of material science fundamentals
  • Manufacturing processes and limitation
  • GD& T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Design to cost

Organizational skills

  • Documentation and ability to have a professional exchange with colleagues spread across the globe
  • Systematic planning and execution
  • Understanding of local eco-system

Soft skills

  • Good communication skills (English)
  • Team collaboration
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking

What kind of an experience helps

With at least 5 years of experience in

  • Full product life cycle
  • DFM and DFA (Design for manufacturability and design for assembly)
  • Working in a heavy industry involving
    • Steel/Welding processes (for instance automotive industry)
    • Chemical industry (Materials, glue, rubber..)
    • Relevant standards (Local to India, ISO, etc.)
  • Desirable but not a must
    • Process Instrumentation industry
    • Field installation
