About the Job
Brightly is seeking a Senior Director of Platform Product Management to lead the strategic evolution of our SaaS platform. In this highly visible leadership role, you will partner with the Platform Technical Architect to define and drive a roadmap of core capabilities that serve as the foundation for our entire product portfolio.
You will play a pivotal role in aligning product, user experience, engineering, sales, as well as other cross functional and regional leaders around a shared vision and roadmap. Your focus will be on identifying and meeting the common needs across product lines, enabling faster innovation, improved scalability, modernized customer experiences with clear business outcomes. You’ll also orchestrate the transformation of legacy products by guiding their adoption of platform services, ensuring consistency and long-term sustainability.
What you will do
- Lead the platform product strategy in partnership with the Technical Architect, ensuring our core services anticipate and address the evolving needs of our SaaS product portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for platform capabilities including shared services, APIs, identity and access management, and developer experience tools.
- Engage directly with vertical product leaders, SMEs, and engineering heads to synthesize cross-functional needs into a coherent, prioritized platform backlog.
- Champion modernization by creating structured migration paths for legacy applications to adopt platform services, accelerating time-to-market and reducing technical debt.
- Drive alignment across business functions—including regional leadership, GTM teams, and customer success—ensuring the platform strategy supports commercial and operational goals.
- Measure and report on platform adoption and impact, using data to guide investment decisions and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and scale a high-performing team as the organization grows.
What you need
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years leading platform or infrastructure-focused teams within a software business.
- Demonstrated success in building products on common platform services used across multiple product lines.
- Deep technical skill and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects and engineering executives.
- Track record of driving large-scale cross-functional alignment and delivering value across a distributed organization.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS architecture, including identity management, shared services, integration frameworks, and modernization approaches.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience influencing global teams and navigating matrixed organizations.

The pay range for this position is 142000 - 243000 annually with a target incentive of 20 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
