For Siemens Turkey R&D Department, we are looking for a Part-time Working Student.
What are my responsibilities?
- Collaborating with the team to understand new features and identify test cases and steps.
- Constantly checking test automation opportunities
- Supporting the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks using various programming languages and tools.
- Executing both automated and manual test suites and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
- Documenting test cases, test plans, and automation processes.
- Assisting in setting up and maintaining test environments and test data.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Currently enrolled as a 3rd year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development principles and software testing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Javascpript and/or Playwright
- Familarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Azure Devops)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Availability to work approximately 2,5 days/22,5 hours per week.
