Embedded Software Developer - Prague (f/m/d)

At our Siemens Foundational Technologies Development Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design, and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.
Your task will be:
- Design, implement and maintain features on embedded platforms
- Develop in embedded C/C++, unit test, integrate, benchmark, and document embedded software
- Bring up ideas on how to improve our current system
- Performing code reviews
- Driving tasks on your own and organize yourself
- Know-how sharing
- Solid computer science background is a must.
- Proficiency in C/C++ is a must for day to day work.
- Ability to understand assembly code
- Fundamental knowledge of RTOS principles and experience with one specific RTOS (e.g. FreeRTOS, eCos, Zephyr)
- Ability to understand basics of HW
- Knowledge of well-known network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ARP etc.)
- Ability and willingness to use high-level/scripting languages to continuously improve development infrastructure
