The epoc© Blood Analysis System is healthcare’s first cost-effective POC testing solution to leverage Smartcard Technology and wireless communication to provide caregivers worldwide with real-time, lab-quality blood gas, electrolyte, and metabolite results at the patient bedside. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and services that patients and providers can rely on for consistently accurate and actionable information.
Your role:
- Design, develop, implement and maintain Android Java application
- Write clean, efficient, secure and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and improve overall code quality
- Document technical designs
- Use applicable technologies that include: Java, React, Android Studio/Visual Studio/Eclipse, SVN/Git, SQLite, Unit testing
Your expertise:
- Experience with Android application development in Java
- Software engineering skills with strong knowledge of design and development of data interfaces
- Experience in basic Android UI layouts, XML and activity lifecycle
- Troubleshooting of released application and logging
- Dependency injection in Dagger
- Experience with multi-threading in Android and memory management
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles
- Strong communication in English and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Bluetooth stack is a strong plus
- Experience with regulated environment (ISO, FDA) would be a big advantage but not mandatory

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2700 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
