Supplyframe is transforming how the global electronics industry connects. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will work closely with Product Management and Software Development teams to develop and complete comprehensive test plans, perform manual testing, and ensure the overall quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise SaaS software releases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and complete test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
- Perform manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and performance areas.
- Design, implement, and maintain, manual test cases, test plans and test run in TestRail framework.
- Ensure quality standards and procedures are applied across the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, solve, and resolve defects.
- Track and manage issues through defect management tools, verifying fixes and conducting regression testing.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to identify system bottlenecks.
- Provide clear documentation of testing processes, results, and quality metrics.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Hands-on experience in manual software testing (required).
- Proven ability to write comprehensive test cases and clearly document the testing process.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, strategies, and the software release lifecycle.
- Experience solving, testing, and validating large-scale, complex systems.
- Proficiency in SQL; working knowledge of JavaScript and js preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA or other issue-tracking tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution for highly complex applications.
- Ability to design, plan, and document test plans, test conditions, and test data sets to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a thorough approach.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multi-functional teams.
