We are seeking a proactive and structured Data Operations & Analysis Specialist to support data quality, process alignment, and requirements management within our analytics projects by implementing and improving data workflow. This person will work closely with data analysts, system experts, and project managers to reduce dependency on individual contributors by ensuring well-documented, consistent, and reliable data pipelines and analysis frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Communication & Support:
- Act as a mediator between data analysts, system experts, and project leaders to manage and escalate issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues when colleagues are unavailable.
- Workflow & Process Alignment:
- Map, document and implement system workflows and log alignment requirements.
- Coordinate knowledge-sharing sessions with system experts to improve domain knowledge.
- Requirements & Definitions Coordination:
- Work with project managers to capture, formalize, and update analysis requirements and definitions.
- Maintain structured documentation on project goals, scope, and data definitions.
- Metadata & Data Catalogue Maintenance:
- Create and maintain comprehensive data catalogues, including parameter descriptions, value mappings, and table definitions.
- Ensure versioning and documentation consistency across software versions.
- Data Quality & Consistency Management:
- Monitor and validate data integrity in data lakes and databases.
- Identify missing data, inconsistent parameter values, and misaligned logs.
Implement data cleaning, correction, and alignment procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to formalize and document project requirements and technical definitions.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality assurance, and version control.
- Familiarity with metadata management and data cataloguing tools.
- Background in data analysis, data engineering, or data operations.
- Experience with SQL, ETL processes, and managing data pipelines.
Desirable Skills:
- Implementing data catalogues in SQL, data transformations in python and data workflows
- Exposure to agile project management or structured requirement gathering frameworks.
- Understanding of system integration, data lakes, and distributed data systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data processing.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2100 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
