We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation, and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM’s global Product and Technology organization.
SiriusXM’s new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, adtech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.
SiriusXM’s Dublin facility is planning to recruit positions in the following areas of focus:
SiriusXM is rapidly expanding its services to drive further engagement of consumers via smartphones, tablets, PCs, and connected devices, while continuing to maintain and grow its adoption in connected cars. This position will be responsible for managing the software engineering team(s) developing the platform APIs supporting SiriusXM, Pandora, & Stitcher applications, which provides a cohesive experience across Client Applications. You'll also function as the primary contact collaborating with Product, Marketing and partnering Engineering teams to harmonize our efforts toward shared company goals. The Technical Program Manager will help ensure our teams are aligned with the product roadmap and deliver best-in-class consumer applications for all of our products. This role reports to a Manager of Technical Program Management.

- Software Development: Software development roles will be tasked with developing and executing innovation roadmaps and provide advanced operations capabilities.
- Automotive Technology & Engineering: The Dublin team will focus on the development, testing, and support of software and platforms primarily for SiriusXM’s in-vehicle services, as well as for SiriusXM’s consumer electronics and emerging businesses. They will be part of the global team focused on customer adoption, enhancing customer experiences, and driving revenue generation.
- AdTech, Data Science & Analytics: The Dublin team will play a critical role in the modernisation of SiriusXM’s adtech stack, focused on efficiency and scalability. Developing innovative solutions and prototyping new methods for music discovery and content engagement, this team will integrate cutting-edge technologies, such as Generative AI and Large Language Models, to enhance the subscription value and modernise SiriusXM’s suite of streaming applications and products.

What You’ll Do
- Demonstrate product knowledge, and facilitate the development of requirements in consideration of known technical capabilities, limitations, and interdependencies across entities.
- Drive execution and delivery of multiple high-profile product or software development projects from start to finish and/or managing the work of one to two midsize to large engineering teams.
- Contribute to developing a roadmap for the team and maintain it in line with the priorities defined by product.
- Assist teams in story writing, backlog maintenance, prioritization and planning. Facilitating creation and prioritization of project-level features and backlogs.
- Continuous evaluation of process and seeking for ways to improve at every iteration.
- Lead planning, refinement, and release ceremonies for the engineering team.
- Adapt to changing conditions and modify project execution plans as appropriate.
- Identify blockers and facilitate the removal of those impediments.
- Proactively highlight and resolve risks and issues and clearly communicate those risks to stakeholders
- Maintain stakeholders informed of day-to-day project statuses, updates, and risk.
- Cultivate relationships across engineering and technical teams to drive progress forward, influence negotiations, and advocate for desired outcomes that best serve our teams.
- A Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 - 4 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Scrum Master, managing cross-functional projects.
- Have strong technical proficiency demonstrated in any number of ways, ex. coding skills, quality assurance experience or technical writing background or similar
- Experienced in Project Management Methodologies, Frameworks, and tooling.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate parties working collaboratively and efficiently.
- An innate problem solver with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Working knowledge in release planning and management.
- Experience in risk reporting, management and mitigation.
- Preferred certifications: Scrum Master Certification (such as CSM or PSM) or PMP and any other relevant certifications.
