What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain high-performance C/C++ software powering PlayStation experiences
- Contribute to systems used across PlayStation consoles, servers, and the web
- Build, test, and deploy services in a Linux environment
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and optimize large, complex codebases
- Apply solid object-oriented design principles to create maintainable and scalable code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with a global team
We’re seeking candidates who bring most of the following:
- A BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
- 3+ years of professional experience in C/C++ development (required)
- 1+ year of experience in web development with tools like JavaScript, React, WebCodecs, or WebAssembly
- Experience working on a PlayStation project or with console-level development
- Background in building and maintaining Linux-based server applications
- Comfort using CMake for builds and Git for version control
- Strong debugging skills in large software projects
- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Bonus: Experience with Python and/or Rust

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
