Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):

Students will be working with Prof. Muthukrishnan on development of a Lake Decision Support Tool and data collection and facilitation of stakeholder workshops to assess the impact of the DST on stakeholder decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Literature searching to collect empirical data for model parameterization

 Beta testing lake DST model

 Assist in organization and facilitation of stakeholder workshops

 Collect participant observations during workshops

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

 CITI training for working with protected human subjects research data

 Experience with social science research methods

 Familiarity with issues in aquatic invasive species management decision-making

 Familiarity with simulation models in R

 Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
