Join a transformative journey at the intersection of data, technology, and supply chain innovation. This strategic role is pivotal in aligning analytics and digitization efforts with business goals and industry best practices. Reporting to the vice president of data science, you will lead high-impact data science teams focused on enhancing inventory decisions and understanding customer behavior. Your leadership will shape the future of demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and customer-centric supply chain strategies. Your strong people leadership skills and product mindset will ensure your teams are successful in delivering a wide variety of innovative data science products at scale. You will be a strong advocate for the power of data science to unlock growth and drive value. This is a unique opportunity for a data-driven, visionary leader to make a significant impact on both customer and partner experience and business performance.

As a director of data science – Global Supply Chain, you will…

  • Lead Supply Chain Analytics Strategy: Set the vision and roadmap for analytics initiatives that enhance supply chain performance, resilience, and agility.
  • Develop High-Impact Teams: Mentor and guide data scientists and analytics managers to deliver actionable algorithms and insights across inventory management, replenishment policies, and network optimization.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with supply chain, merchandising, logistics, finance, and operations teams to align analytics efforts with business priorities.
  • Advance Forecasting & Replenishment Models: Build and deploy predictive models to improve demand forecasting, inventory turns, and service levels.
  • Optimize Supply Chain Networks: Use data-driven insights to support network design, transportation planning, and capacity optimization.
  • Influence Through Storytelling: Communicate complex analytics in clear, compelling ways to influence executive decision-making and represent the customer voice.
  • Promote Analytics Adoption: Champion the use of data and analytics products and tools across business units, driving a culture of data-informed decision-making.
  • Build Evergreen Data & Analytics Products: Apply systems thinking to design scalable, reusable analytics solutions that support long-term supply chain innovation.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Proven experience leading analytics teams, with a strong focus on supply chain functions such as replenishment planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
  • Deep expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning (e.g., forecasting, clustering, anomaly detection) applied to supply chain optimization.
  • Proficient in Python or R for developing and reviewing analytics solutions.
  • Skilled in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to extract insights and communicate them effectively to business stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills, with a track record of driving outcomes across supply chain, merchandising, and operations.
  • Retail or consumer-facing industry experience preferred, especially in analytics roles supporting inventory optimization and network planning.
