Now Brewing – director, decision science - Operations Intelligence! #tobeapartner
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
As Director of Decision Science on our Operations Intelligence team, you will inspire teams and leaders to take action by championing the needs of our Customers, Partners, and Stores. You will lead a team of Analytics & Insights professionals, applying Data Science and Market Research across the full spectrum of Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics. Your focus will be on embedding Data Science, Advanced Analytics, and Insights into decision-making processes to deliver solutions that enhance the Starbucks Customer and Partner experience, improve operational efficiency, and elevate our Green Apron Service.

You will guide others in translating business questions into clear analytics and research objectives, and then into thoughtful, end-to-end plans.
