Job Description:
TD Securities is seeking a Trade Finance Analyst to support Trade & Working Capital product team. As a Trade Finance Analyst, will support the product team across core trade and working capital products (import/export LCs, SBLCs, receivables/payables). The analyst will be the analytical expert and organizational support handling business metrics, documentation, business case scoping, and help drive special projects coordination and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Delivery Support: Assist the product team in business case scoping, end-to-end rollout of new trade and working capital solutions, including documentation workflows, operational readiness, and internal training materials coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Analytics & Reporting: Build and maintain Excel-based models and dashboards to track KPIs across volume, revenue, client performance, and pipeline. Strong formula, pivot table, and data visualization skills required.
- Project Support & Initiatives: Engage in special projects, process improvements, or documentation enhancements for trade and working capital offerings.
- Team Tools & Knowledge Management: Set up and maintain a shared SharePoint site or library for collating collateral, product fact sheets, pitch decks, training decks, and regulatory updates for the origination team’s use.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, Data Science or similar.
- 0–3 years of experience in trade finance, supply chain finance, working capital, or related analysis roles is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of producing deliverables and presenting to a senior audience.
- Expert level proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, AI tools).
- Capability to support performance modeling, financials, or credit understanding is a plus.
- Highly organized, meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities, ad hoc requests, and tight deadlines.
- Team-player mindset, collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working cross functionally across various teams.
