What We Are Looking For:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Strong proficiency in Python (and standard libraries including numpy, torch, etc) and familiarity with Robotics Operating System (ROS)
Understanding of fundamental robotics concepts (kinematics, homogeneous transforms, etc)
Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills and a willingness to jump into unfamiliar technical areas and code

What You'll Do:

Develop robotics perception systems and/or deploy them on robots
Work with existing state-of-the-art perception models or pipelines
Use data to drive decision making and develop technologies iteratively
Participate in code reviews to promote code quality and reliability across the codebase

Bonus:

Familiarity with fundamental AI/ML concepts or state-of-the-art methods in computer vision
Experience with git, issue tracking (Jira), and modern software engineering practices
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic, research-driven environment
