Job Description Summary: | The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) is committed to academic excellence, innovative curricula, and the responsible management of organizations in a global environment. To support this mission, GWSB’s Finance Department is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in GWSB’s Finance team, performing complex analytical and administrative duties. This position leverages data analytics and trend analysis to drive decision-making, monitor budget performance, and support strategic financial planning. The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with the Finance Director (FD) and collaborates with team members across departments within the school and university. Performs other related duties as assigned including providing cross team training and learning/performing backup tasks for finance team member when needed. Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 3 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
