Position Purpose:
The Inventory Accounting Process Engineering Senior Analyst partners with Product teams, CHEX, and controllership leadership to ensure financial and accounting requirements are accurately defined, tested, and implemented for new initiatives, systemic changes, and business process updates. This role supports the definition of accounting flows and new accounting processes, applies knowledge of Finance system design to requirements, and ensures business and accounting scenarios are incorporated into testing to avoid issues in production. The Senior Analyst also contributes to establishing monitoring requirements for pilots and rollouts, researches risks and pilot defects, and communicates project impacts and reporting implications to Controllership stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- 5% Collaboration – Leverages prior experiences to help develop and recommend solutions
- Effectively develops trust and collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional teams in other towers
- Collaborates with appropriate team members to gather input and feedback concerning business needs
- Understands the technical needs required for successfully tackling business problems
- 75% Operational Duties – Execute required tasks related to the delivery of the (PTP, OTC, RTR) tower
- Work coordinately with other teams providing or receiving information as needed
- Support work that needs to be done with internal or external customers.
- Interprets data contained in reports and ledgers
- Provides advice and analysis to increase the efficiency and improve the tasks that are done
- Supports the work of more junior analysts
- Resolves issues and problems related to their job function.
- Executes month end / year end processes
- Monitor and works towards meeting KPIs and SLAs defined for the area
- Assists manager with building and interpreting analysis for providing insights to the business
- 15% Project Management & Team Support – Work with project teams and business partners to complete project goals
- Helps prioritize assignments and ensure quality and accuracy of work
- 5% Skill Building & Professional Development – Seek further knowledge on key developments and trends within finance (e.g., analytics, intelligent automation, robotics)
- Participate in the continuous improvement of financial shared services processes and tools
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This Position typically reports to Lead Analyst, Manager or Sr. Manager
- This Position has 0 Direct Reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of accounting and / or finance principles and practices, statistical methodology, generally accepted accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and complete work on schedule within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to support the definition of accounting flows and new accounting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in identifying risks and validating solutions.
- Effective communication skills with ability to summarize project impacts and reporting implications for stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Finance, Product, and IT teams.
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

Work From Home – Location Specific – An associate in this role primarily works from home but is assigned a THD location and is periodically required to report to their in-office location. Associates must live within the same state and within a commutable distance of their assigned THD location.
