JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The School of Hospitality Management in the College of Health and Human Development is seeking a part-time Assistant Research Professor. The selected candidate will be responsible for helping design qualitative studies, create study protocols, advice in data collection, join the team in data analysis and interpretation and in reporting results for peer reviewed and other publications and outputs.
The successful candidate will have experience conducting research with qualitative data, especially with small samples, where data was collected longitudinally. The candidate should also have experience working with NVivo qualitative data analysis software. The candidate will also have experience working on USDA grants, especially those focusing menu labeling and food choices, and preferably on research studies conducted as field experiments. Locally based researchers will be preferred given the needs of the research team. Preference will also be given to candidates with experience working on interdisciplinary and international research teams.
Must have a Ph.D. at the time of hire.
