U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior iOS Engineer in Cupertino, California. This position is with Talech, Inc., a U.S. Bank company.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Senior iOS Engineer will join our mobile engineering team at Talech. Talech is focused on building the next generation point of sale software for small business through simple, intuitive interfaces and powerful analytics. The Senior iOS Engineer will be an early member of a small close-knit team that is leading a mission to help merchants run their business better. As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS applications, ensuring they are of the highest quality, performance, and reliability. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including design, product, and backend engineering, to deliver exceptional user experiences. Primary responsibilities include: Highly skilled in the iOS engineering designing and developing iOS native mobile applications - iPhone and iPad, including architecture, implementation, and testing; Utilizes technical expertise and leadership skills to resolve complex iOS mobile application related issues, ensure product goals are met, and serve as a mentor to coach and support junior engineers to continue to raise the engineering bar across the organization; Develops high level program specifications for native iOS mobile applications. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved; Demonstrated success in delivering complex full stack mobile applications across native iOS mobile application and server-side component; Collaborate with designers and product managers to understand requirements, provide iOS related technical guidance and translate designs into functional and visually appealing iPhone / iPad UI components; Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and iOS platform guidelines; Analyzes, defines, and documents iOS mobile application design for data, workflow, logical processes, and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external; and Supervises monitoring of existing iOS mobile application systems operating efficiency. Identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions to improve efficiency. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of the worksite location. Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering plus 5 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Technology Lead, or related.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with: designing and developing iOS native for mobile phones, and tablets; working with Swift, Objective-C and latest native iOS frameworks; iOS design principles, human interface guidelines, and platform-specific technologies; accessibility guidelines for iOS applications; Xcode debug instruments to troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks; MVC/MVVM pattern, data structures with solid Object-Oriented programming concepts; algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices applicable to iOS platforms; Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles; Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, UIKit, Rest, XCODE and Instruments; developing & delivering iOS mobile applications following WCAG and platform specific Accessibility guidelines and standards; and MVC & MVVM design patterns, XML, Cocoapods, Java, C, C++, Jenkins, GIT or SVN and other tools like JIRA and Confluence or similar. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of the worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location.
