Overview:
US Bank is expanding its technological solutions for the Depositary team and is seeking an experienced .NET Tech Lead to drive the development, maintenance, and enhancement of a core system performing Depositary Services. This role is part of the European technology support team and involves close collaboration with Depositary Services business teams based in Ireland and Luxembourg.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in the .NET stack, leadership experience, and a proven ability to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. This role includes leading product change management, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the system meets business needs while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of the core depositary system using the .NET stack.
- Collaborate with business teams to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee testing, data sourcing, and logical changes to the system, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Provide daily production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
- Work with internal and external data providers to ensure seamless data sourcing and integration.
- Drive automation and process improvements to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
- Manage the systems, Depositary dashboard and Compliance monitoring systems including rule writing and managing data exceptions on an ongoing basis.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- Proven experience in project implementation.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, data engineering concepts, and ETL pipelines.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of Depositary Services or similar domains.
- Proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in C#.NET, including experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET.
- Expertise in database design, data analysis, and data integration.
- Experience with modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong experience in .NET Web API development
Location Expectation
The role offers a flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
