Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer will be part of the MarTech engineering team which is responsible for the development and support of no code data ingestion pipelines for marketing purposes. The team also supports an internal operational tool for monitoring the health of the pipelines. The Software Engineer will develop and maintain no code data ingestion pipelines and internal tool
with production support under the mentorship and guidance of Tech Lead/Engineering manager. They will also write no code data ingestion pipelines with the help of no code internal data distributor framework, AutoSys and MFS. They will test it against multiple environments before moving it to production. The Software Engineer will also write efficient code using appropriate languages such as Java, spring boot and Angular to monitor the health of pipelines in production. They will Acknowledge production incidents and debug the logs. They will also comply with compliance and audit procedures in the bank with regular Disaster Recovery exercises and Software Vulnerability issues. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Information Systems plus 2 years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or related. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Information Systems plus 5 years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or related in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 1 year of experience with each of the following: SQL to write business critical data to SQL server DB using Java microservices; Java Spring Boot to build Java microservices; Angular to create front end tools; agile software development; SDLC; and front-end and back-end development. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $130,541 - $143,595.
