Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our document capabilities within our Digital Platforms. This role will create the vision and strategy around suite of document and metadata related solutions. In this role, you will look across document ingestion, classification, extraction, storage and integration – turning unstructured content into actionable data at scale. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the enterprise ensuring solutions deliver value for our business while ensuring we have scalable and compliant solutions to bring faster speed to market.

This leader will manage a team of product managers to deliver in a highly complex environment with constant evolution in the ecosystem. The role is responsible for all aspects of platform product management – defining vision and strategy, prioritization, roadmap, end-to-end product management – discovery, design, product development, launch, commercialization and product support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to define product experiences and capabilities that align with segment and enterprise strategies.

  • Quickly assess and define the strategy for buy/build for new capabilities

  • Clearly define objectives and key results that tie to business outcomes.

  • Communicate with key stakeholders how product capabilities deliver on their priorities.

  • Leveraging business line input, user feedback and data, ensure the team’s backlogs are prioritized in a manner that best meets the platforms objectives and delivers on key results.

  • Inspire a broad and deep knowledge of KPI usage for data-driven decision making across the digital organization. Direct teams to tie tangible numbers to how they drive the strategic priorities of the organization.

  • Proactively anticipate and manage risks associated with the Platform. Encourage the right balance of risk to maintain organizational innovation and competitiveness

  • Clearly communicate risks, challenges the team is facing in execution. Resolve roadblocks for team in a timely manner that allows us to deliver on-time

  • Lead, develop and coach the team for maximum success.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience leading large scale document management and intelligent document processing capabilities across enterprise organizations

  • Demonstrated product and technology domain knowledge within the document processing space (Azure, Indico, Tungsten, etc) and digital signing technologies (Docusign, Onespan, etc)

  • Familiarity with business workflows that involve large processing of documents including validation and extraction of data across structured, semi-structed and unstructured formats

  • Experience leading teams within the financial services industry, with deep business knowledge.

  • Deep digital product management experience across a variety of relevant products.

  • Excels working with large teams and cross functional stakeholders.

  • Results-oriented leader who has led with agile ways of working mindset.

  • Ability to communicate ideas crisply and clearly.

  • Curious mind with problem solving ability.

  • Strong analytical mindset and back all your decisions with strong numbers

  • Strong partnership skills and leadership through influence, with direct experience managing in a highly matrixed environment.

**The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.**

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $170,255.00 - $200,300.00
