Job Description
Leads delivery of communication solutions and provides technical communication guidance to ensure consistent messaging and appropriate communication vehicles are leveraged in alignment with the business strategy, regulatory requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities include: Provides leadership within cross-functional teams and delivers advanced communication services; writing, editing, analysis, and planning. Creates, curates, reviews, analyzes, edits, and enhances existing business and technical documentation, webpages and other communications media for effectiveness, clarity, and accuracy. Cultivates an awareness of and shares knowledge of industry trends, helping to accurately assess associated business impact(s) and to anticipate strategic consequences. Provides leadership, expert analysis to requirements gathering, and project planning for complex communications projects and other significant business initiatives. Facilitates meetings and leads conversations, capturing required edits, tracking action items and resolving roadblocks. Provides design consultation, implementation support, and content management services to documentation repositories and knowledge management systems. Leads design and implementation of communication solutions to meet/exceed clients’ information delivery needs, including board presentations, executive-level talking points, policy and standard documentation, process and procedure documentation, SharePoint-based website design and development.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of business experience with five or more years of technical communications
- Five or more years of experience with support to information delivery solutions, knowledge management, systems, and communication strategies
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Good understanding of information security and cyber security subject matter, regulatory requirements and financial service business(es)
- Skilled in group and individual dynamics to effectively facilitate and independently interface with all levels of personnel, including senior stakeholders, business line leaders, and technical subject-matter experts
- Ability to mentor and coach less experienced staff, instructing and occasionally directing the work of others
- Ability to research and evaluate new or evolving technologies and tools and apply that research to business and technical documentation
- Demonstrated advanced skills in utilizing Microsoft Office products (including MS Teams) and a solid working-knowledge of SharePoint
Additional Responsibilities:
- Will support 1-2 direct reports of the CISO.
- Must be able to build relationships and trust with senior executives.
- Will become the SME of their area of support and be able to translate their expertise into board level communications that only need to be refined by their executives.
- Must be able to handle multiple deadlines and projects at once.
**The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.**

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
